I hate peeling onions! I love onions and cook with them a lot, but it drives me crazy trying to peel off the outer layer, some come off really easy, others can take forever and come off in tiny little pieces. Is there some trick/tip to doing this?

I have to peel a large amount of onions every week, and that is how I do it. If you are lucky enough to wear contacts there are no tears.
