Is anyone taking this thyroid pill? Been on it for many, many years and now I find out it is recalled. Would have been nice if Express Scripts would have alerted their customers. Had to call doctor and got another generic thyroid pill (Levothyroxine). This one I can get in Waldbaums for $9.99 for 90 days. Cheaper than my Levoxyl. Just hope my numbers will be good when I go for my blood work. Just wondering about this issue in different parts of the country. Hope to hear from some of you. I know here in Northern IN they have recalled it as well. Also know..for a fact..that although they are claiming it's due to the smell but are saying that is all that is wrong...that is NOT true. I know several people who were taking it and had felt ill for the last month or longer depending on when they got the bad batches. Once they stopped taking it and and started taking a alternative med for thyroid, they were feeling much better within a few weeks. There is definately more than what the company is saying going on with it but of course that isn't really surprising as coverups are the 'norm' these days it seems ...
