My 22 yr old son just told me, guess he found out a month-month & a half ago, that he only has 40% lung capacity & there's no cure or reversing it & that he has severe Scoliosis and he has NO insurance.
I am so sad.

Sorry to hear about your son.
Have you looked into your state Medicaid Program? There are other programs as well, but vary by state.
He could also apply for SSI/SSDI benfefits.

he's lost 27 lbs in 1 month but he says he can't afford it :o(
My heart is aching, I weep throughout the day, every day. His issues make mine seem petty.
I have contacted our County regarding insurance & they gave me to 2 websites for him to fill out an app & from that they will be able to see what county or state insurance he would qualify for. NOW if he will only do it!
I also fowarded him the info on SSI or SSA, again now if he will only check in to it.
