You can have a plumber install a "heating devise to warm the tank water". The reason the tank sweats is the same as a glass of ice water sweats on a warm day. The water in the tank is cool and the outside of the tank is warm so the moisture in the air condenses on the out side of the tank.

You can purchase a insulation kit for your toliet: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/catalog/servlet/Search?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&keyword=insulation+kit%20for%20toliets&Ns=None&Ntpr=1&Ntpc=1&selectedCatgry=Search+All#/?c=1&browsestoreoption=1

Just add Heat

Several manufacturers make toilet-tank insulators they claim cure sweaty toilets, but most don't work very well. There are only two surefire ways to stop toilets from sweating. First, use an air conditioner or dehumidifier to dry out the air in the bathroom. However, this approach won't work if you don't have one of these units or don't want to run it all summer.

The second method involves installing an antisweat valve in the water-supply line leading to the toilet. The valve adds a little hot water to the line, which raises the water temperature in the toilet enough to warm up the tank and bowl. That's all it takes to keep condensation from forming, even in the most sultry weather.

Antisweat valves are sold at home centers and plumbing-supply dealers in both adjustable and preset types. Pay the extra $10 or so for an adjustable model. It allows you to regulate the water temperature and shut down the hot-water side completely when it's not needed. For our installation, we chose the Adjusto-Temp adjustable toilet valve, from Universal Rundle (Model 5025-1, $33). This valve can be installed in the bathroom, behind a wall or below the floor (if there's a crawl space or basement). Here, we show cutting the valve into a water-supply line in the basement directly beneath the toilet.

I have bought the insulator and it does work at bit, but the above looks like a way better solution HTH.

We did this on (2) toilets over 10 years ago after hearing about it. You can even buy toilets with this already done in them.

Before we did this water would form on the outside of the toilet and actually run down the tank, that doesn't happen anymore and in fact it is usually dry to the touch.

Do this:
Get a 1/2 inch sheet of white styrofoam and cut it to line the inside of the toilet tank. We form fitted ours so the foam itself butts up tight at the corners and we did not use glue or anything at all to hold it in the tank, we just put the stryofoam in and form fitted it tight. Drain your toilet tank first.

Our toilet flushes fine and I did not notice a difference in the amount of water flowing from the tank into the toilet to flush it. Keep in mind if you go thicker than 1/2 inch on the styrofoam that it will result in less water in the tank flush the toilet.

Here is what the white styrofoam looks like buy it at any lumber company

We are in a very humid area and everytime we flash the ground water that fills the tank is very cold, so the difference in the temperature makes the tank sweat.
For some reason the styrofoam does not work for us.
They sell new toilet tanks that are lined by the factory, something to keep in mind if you are planning to buy one. It might be a better choice. 6|1|Or you could pour some hot water in the tank or toilet bowl a few times a day.|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|12:43:52|05/09/2013|

Mine here doesn't sweat but when I was a kid growing up w/no a/c, I remember my mom & dad occasionally pouring hot water into the toilet bowl & the tank to reduce the sweating. It must've worked cuz we had hardwood floors then & they didn't want the moisture to drip on the bathroom floor & ruin it.

Smile... it makes people wonder what you're up to!
