When my girl was little she wanted to put cucumbers on her eyes for a beauty treatment, I guess she saw it somewhere. So I found her lying on the couch with pickle slices on her eyes. lol It was the cutest thing and smart too, she must have known pickles are cucumbers. The hospital, told us to take him home to die...and we found another hospital, and a confident doctor.
He's been thru so much, but thanks to GOD and many, many prayers...I am happy to say that he is still with us.

She had blood work & x-rays today & altho the x-ray showed an enlarged heart, her blood work came back all ok. The vet said that except for her heart problems, she's in really good health for being 13 yrs. old & w/the continuing meds, could easily bless my life for another 3-4 yrs. :)

Had the MRI in the morning and my Doc called me in the pm. He said the awful swelling was gone now but the disc injury is still there, HOWEVER, there is a neurosurgeon at our hospital now that my Doc feels can fix the discs arthroscopic surgery! He told me I was very lucky my insurance was messing around with me last year and I couldn't get the back surgery, this is much, much better! WOO HOO!!
