Is anyone else having major problems with their post office and mail? I have had problems off and on but here lately it's getting really bad. I'm getting packages with holes in the side of them. Rebate checks ripped in half and put in plastic bags saying sorry from post office. Bills not being delivered to my house, mail being sent back to me saying undeliverable and there's nothing wrong with it. And then today I get 2 of 4 trades I sent out this week sent back to me, funny thing is they took them to deliver them it's like they held on to them for days then put then back in my mail box no stamp from post office on it no nothing. Like it was never touched. I have to open my mailbox with a key so I know it's not neighbors messing with my mail it's the post office and I'm getting really mad about it. I went to post office today and complained about it and told them I want something done about this. Just wondering if anyone else is having problems or not?

Either we get our mail late or it's in neighbors box. We're always getting someone else's mail. I've complained numerous times and it does no good. They just reduced the post office to 6 hours daily here and service is crappy daily. I always tell people not to use Delivery Confirmation, because I get the package even before it's scanned. One day I thought a package was lost, but it had blown off our deck. 2|1|YES!!! I planned all day to post a similar rant. I got 4 envelopes today and 3 out of 4 were mauled. As tho the PO was having their breakfast over my envies..I had to replace the forms because the env. was smeared with sticky crap and the forms were GLUED together..SO what the hell am I paying postage for?

Haven't always been able to say this though. Funny story - but many years ago I received a refunding magazine in the mail each month and one month it was a little late and when I finally got it - somebody had read it first and circled some of the info in it!!! No kidding, they took the magazine home and read it and circled some rebates, etc. and then put it back into the mail and I eventually got it.
I mailed a small package from here in middle Missouri one Saturday and it was received in Washington state on Monday. Just a couple of weeks ago

it was returned to me as address unknown. It had been in North Dakota all of that time.
The funny thing about it, 2 days after I mailed it I got an update on the computer saying
the mail carrier had it on his vehicle & it would be delivered before noon that day. I had called several #'s at the po consumer office & noone would say why it was not delivered by the carrier. Needless to say, I thought we would never see it again. I was surprised when it showed up in my mail box 23 months later. It contained some really important papers that we had to go to a lot of trouble to replace.The lady at the po consumer office did tell me that if it was that important I should have spent more money & sent it registered mail.So they really aren't worried aabout whether we receive it or not. 2 weeks aga it took 15 days for me to receive a trade from NY.

WELL, I am in the north east corner of IL....so, they crossed the entire state of IL with this thing and took it to DESMOINES Iowa. (wrong direction) where it sat 2 days. NEXT update, it is in Columbus OH....it AGAIN crossed the entire state of IL (this time EAST) and is in OH.
Come on!!! IT is LATE!!!! AND if they are so broke why are our packages sightseeing the Midwest rather than being taken the most direct route??
MY box didn't need a vacation....just to be delivered where I sent it, thanks!!

they didnt even put them in a bag..saying it arrived at post office like that or anything.....they just
wrapped a rubber band around it........yesterday i got three of my dopeheaded neighbors bills......took it back to the post office this morning
