The last couple of months I have not been feeling "normal", it was like I had my 48th birthday and BAM I felt like I was 80. I went from a single mom always on the go, exercising at least 3 days a week to not being able to exercise at all without pain everywhere. Every day I had a new symptom. Symptoms are muscle weakness, joint stiffness, headaches throughout the head/jaw/teeth, heartbeat in the ear, head fogginess, pains throughout parts of the body/body parts, no appetite (eating just because I make supper & I get a lunch break at work), etc...the list is endless.
SO a week ago I went to the doctor to have 8 tubes of blood drawn & a huge list of tests and 2 ultrasounds.
Results of blood tests: I am Vit D toxic which can cause poor appetite, nausea and vomiting, weakness, frequent urination and kidney problems. Now mind you I was only taking 1,000 IUs per day for the past 2 years but according to my doctor for some reason my body doesn't rid of the D that I take in. I have not taken the D since & am improving alittle on the appetite, tinge of nausea, muscle weekness & frequent urination
Results of ultrasound: not showing why I have pain on my right side, however the coils I had put in my tubes in 2006 to prevent pregnancy, the 1 for my right tube is not there! So an AB X-ray was ordered today to "find" where this coil might be. As I read up on this it could have lodged in to another organ :o( so now I wait until Tuesday to see my doctor again to hear the verdict. Very scarey crap.

AB X-ray showed nothing but that 1 of the coils is not in tube.
Doppler ultrasound on right leg & groin is fine no blood clots
CT scan (1 with the liquid chemical & 1 with the IV chemical) all organs look fine, EXCEPT mild dilation of the common bile duct & no sign of coil so doctor assumes it came out thru the uterus at some point. Doctor said need follow up appointment in 2-4 weeks.
Now I wonder what is causing this pain on right side & thinkind I may consult with a Gastroenterologist for 2nd opinion. Not sure what else to do.

Went to my doctor today, she has decided to refer me to a Gastroenterologist, however she did consult with one today while I was at my appt and they agreed to give a prescription of "bile pills" to be taken 4 times a day for 1 week and within that time period I should know whether that is working or not. They want to do this while I wait to get in to see the Gastroenterologist and at that time they probably will want to do more imaging.
Why oh why can't things be more simple!?!?!?!?

Finally got in to see a Gastroenterologist, after reviewing my CT scan results a MRI MRCP was ordered and done on the bile duct now to wait for those results.
Also discussed was that the Gastroenterologist thinks that my issue may be in the colon, this was only after poking around my right quad area (aka right side ab area) so a Colonoscopy was also ordered.
