Hello, I just read over a trade that I was doing and had some questions. This has happen to me over the last 6 months several time and it seems to be happending more oftern. I just don't understand it, don't know if I am miss something or if people are just being greedy.

What I didn't understand is "why do people want me to PAY for their postage". I have had 3 trades this week where they want me to send them a STAMP along with the items I a m sending them. If the other person use a (1) stamp to mail the trade and I use (1) stamp to send my end, then it's a equal trade. The only time I send extra postage is if what I am getting weights more then 1 stamp, then I don't mind paying the extra postage. I have always done EPOP, Each Pays Own Postage! Am I missing something???? Any advice would be helpful!

Thanks,
Teresa

Have a Great Day!

Teresa

i agree with you for the trade that we mail without give stamp to other trader which i ask for coupons or upcs something like that.

i am concerned about stamp will go up. will i pay .50 cent stamp and i give stamp to other trader? i think i better cut off for trade in few years and no longer to active in coupons or upcs.

:-D 2|2|I have thought about quitting but I really|cashcoll|cashcoll@yahoo.com|03:26:12|03/06/2013|

3|1|Am I understanding this right? You send coupons to a trader, and they are also sending you coupons? If so, yes, each should pay own postage. If someone asks you to send a stamp, in this situation, just ask them to send you one as well, to make it even. I know it is silly.|dlpavitt|dlpavitt@att.net|10:39:41|03/06/2013|

If you are a HONEST trader, there is nothing to fear in having a feedback link. If you do not have one, please set one up, BEFORE contacting me for a trade. If you insist on not having a feedback link, please do not contact me to trade. Feedback links protect all of us, on RS. Thanks for understanding. I have complained about the "Include stamp with each trade" policy that refunders just automatically demand. REMEMBER that you are already charging a fee for your forms. I don't care how many trades you do. You are making money on the trades. We traders are forced to pay exhorbitant prices for pieces of paper just because they have high rebates. Many times we don't even get them. Then we are out of much expected refunds. POSTAGE SHOULD ALWAYS BE EPOP!! especially when traders are regular customers and only trying to help themselves by doing refunds. I have never seen traders who offer forms giving a time period (like all of any one month) that no extra stamp is required for return postage. Remember, this is double dipping on your profit. 5|2|I disagree...|Arizona|vbj48@cox.net|14:52:09|03/06/2013|

I'm glad to TRADE my $50 rebate form for your $50 form - EPOP. I always prefer to do that.

BUT...when I ask $1.00 or whatever for my $50 form, I am only getting $1.00 and you will still be getting $50. If I have to pay the postage to send this to you then I would only be receiving .54.

Does that really sound like a fair exchange to you?

If one doesn't want to pay postage to receive a trade then no need to complain, just pass on the trade.

Many traders PREFER and only accept Paypal now. A trader would save .46 per trade by using it instead of sending cash through the mail.
6|3|I AGREE WITH VICKI, AND I'M NOT A FORM SELLER......I AM A BUYER.....I HAVE NO PROBLEM SENDING POSTAGE TO THE SELLER BECAUSE I APPRECIATE THE FORMS SO MUCH. I DON'T FIND ANY HERE|JOYHAPPYONE|DAIDOLA5@AOL.COM|14:59:08|03/06/2013|

Shoot - I have sold a form for 50¢ and now you expect me to send it to the form buyer and I pay for the postage??? I would be getting 4¢ - barely would cover the cost of the envelope, my return address sticker and my trade slip. Not going to do it.

If I am making a trade for other items then I think each should pay their own postage.

10|3|I trade for pp and have a pp account. If someone needs the courtesy of a cash trade I don't think I should lose the postage paid. Case in point, I do MANY $1 trades each week. While I value ALL my trades, if someone wants $1 worth and then doesn't want to send a stamp because I did the coutesy of accepting cash....why would I ever take cash? that makes my $1 trade worth .54 Clipping coupons is a LOT of work. a LOT of work...and I pay for the envelopes and my gas to mail (or to the po to get stamps) and my time etc...I do the occasional RAOK...but wouldn't be interested in working this hard for .nothing. The only option you would be leaving those that clip is to refuse cash payments because you want the person sending the coupons to get .46 less per cash trade than pp trades. Each sending items is different imo. If you send me 20 coupons and I send you 20 coupons...EPOP. |Barb09|Barb0969@AOL.com|21:12:58|03/06/2013|
