I hope others can find some "missing money" It is free, I had to fill out a form and mail it in, it does ask for a SS# but isn't required and so naturally I didnt give them that information.
What are you doing still reading this, go find you some money!

the check has probably already expired. A relative of mine also saw his name on a list of "found money" and it was some rebate checks that were sent to his "old" address and never forwarded/received at his new address. All of his troubles in getting them back resulted in a bunch of worthless rebate checks.

evidently they deposit the missing money into an account and then when it is claimed they write you a check, less the $1.00.
