so instead of paying $56 a pay period they are taking $140 a pay period.....that means an additional $180 a month less in my income....on top of a raise in insurance premiums....this is ridiculous.....

Is anyone else seeing a ridiculous amount of money missing from their paychecks? I knew my taxes were going to go up a bit, but really???????? $200 worth??? I simply can't afford that. 1|1|Congress did NOT extend the 2% break in social security|Abbicca|Abbicca@insightbb.com|09:35:33|01/08/2013|

It doesn't explain your rates DOUBLING.....but everyone's paychecks will be 2% smaller this year as we all go back to the regular social security rate of 6.2% instead of the 4.2% of the past two years. (For the record, employers always had to pay the full 6.2% of matching FICA only the employee portion was reduced by 2%)

My DH's went up from $84 to $122, which is the proper % increase. Yours is way off, so someone has made a mistake and it needs to be corrected sooner rather than later.
