Anybody have this stuff and more information on it.
Plus I am really bored doing nothing. They told me to do nothing like I feel like doing anything.

You bounce back so much better when you're younger.... I don't remember much about it, but I do remember I got over it pretty quickly compared to when my sister had it. She was laid up for weeks and weeks with it. I also remember laying down one afternoon when I first had it and I slept like 22 hours straight or something crazy like that.

I was real sick from it as a teen, and later had issues with an enlarged spleen that caused me alot of pain.
Hope you heal up quick.

I had it as a teenager and my spleen almost exploded---it turned into (sp?) mononucleic hepatitis... I am so tired but can't sleep. They are going to look into giving me something.
I go back to the dr. Wed. Right here at Christmas is awful. Thank goodness my
kids are older and can help me.

hospitalized with it. She is epileptic and of course it threw her into major seizures. She was very tired as well and soo sick in general with it. Try to sleep and take it easy..like everyone says. I actually fell asleep at my desk at work -- had NO idea what was wrong.
Had some sort of dull ache in my lower abdomin which ended up being my spleen. Mono causes the spleen to enlarge. There was some medication I took -- can't remember what, but it was a good solid 2 weeks of napping like a cat. Then slowly gaining strength.
Had to limit how much I lifted for a while because of the spleen. There were other things, but I cannot remember them.

today the dr gave me something that help with the restless and I
actually took a nap hoping to sleep better tonight. It was not valium or sleeping pills
something weird but it worked. I just can't eat a lot at one time but that won't hurt me.
They said to stay very hydrated. It can dehydrate you without you even knowing. I am
just glad I got a diagnosis. You are just putting your life in your own hands at the
ER, never know.
They did say it was harder the older that you get to be really careful about what I do.
I don't have a choice I don't feel like doing much.
The hardest thing about it is not be able to love on my family and my friends won't come
around. I understand I wouldn't want them to get it. They say on the internet that it is
a lot harder to catch than the normal cold. I know where I got it. I took my mil to the
dr at the hospital and I drank out of the water fountain about 3 months ago. The only
thing I can think of and I never drink out of the water fountain and please none of you
either.

They say the Lord will never give you more than you can handle. The devil must be in this. almost 2 weeks
in the bed and they say I would feel better in 3 weeks. I am waiting. I am so bored. Thinking of doing a puzzle.
with rebates that need to go but I can't concentrate and I need concentration to do those.

My daughter had it and she had to get ultrasounds of her spleen cause it
was enlarged. Dr wouldn't let her ride a horse,cause if she fell she might
bleed internally. More to mono than people think.
