My daughter handed me half a needle with the thread on it and said "I just stepped on this" We looked at her foot saw nothing, no blood, no entry, nothing. So, Monday I am at work and she calls, her foot is red and swollen, I said get to ER asap, she does. Gets and xray, and there it is right in the arch and DEEP almost to the bone. They can't do anything and refer her to a podiatrist, give her a tetinus shot, anti biotics, crutches and Vicodin. She went to Podiatris yesterday. He said, I have to send you to Toledo to have it surgically removed..so we go tomorrow for pre-op at 6AM, surgery at 7:30. There putting her under,so she's scared (she's never had anything medically needed before)<P>I told her she would be just fine after the zoombie doctor ate her foot off....LMAO at least I made her laugh :)<P>Keep her in your thoughts and prayers if you could please.<P>It's an hour drive, lots of coffee for me !<P>Thanks,<BR>Sheila

My oldest daughter bought thumbtacks with a clear top-why????
