I am going to do this for by brother, sis in law, and their family for Christmas. A notebook with a list of what each month I will cook for them. Thinking once a month a large pot of something, vegetable, side side, dessert, etc.

I am looking for ideas on good food that can be made and transported well and then reheated several different times.

I want to cook the meals for them and make enough that they can take it home and have it on hand for a couple of days when they need a meal and reheat at different times at different times (to allow for work schedules, kids practice times, etc.)

I always see a lot of postings on here about recipes and food and though you might have some great ideas about this.

I have thought of italian beef, chicken & dumplings, spaghetti 1|1|The other day I watched the Pioneer Woman (M)|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|12:30:25|11/15/2012|

She made Meatloaf, twice baked potatoes, Salad and a pecan pie and transported it to one of their ranch hands homes.

Chili (Red or white) is another good food that travels and reheats well. Pioneer woman has a good white one I made at the suggestion of another memeber here.

Ina Garten on food tv does lots of meals that she makes and transports and another I like is Giada.

Just surf over to foodtv.com...I'm sure you will see lots of ideas.
