that Betty took a bad fall this morning.
He head hit concrete and she is unconscious
in the er.They are waiting for xrays and
CAT scan to come back.

Betty is home now. She is doing pretty well all things considered. She has seven staples in the back of her head. There was no brain, neck, or bone damage. She is just very sore which is to be expected. Hoepfully she can get a few days rest and be back to cooking and couponing as normal. We will keep everyone informed if anything changes and thanks to everyone for all the prayers and well wishes. Marshall

10|1|Thanks Angie for posting I work with Betty and we got updates through out the day and she is at home resting..She has concussion and had get 7 staples where she fell. She is one lucky lady I have to say and so glad her husband was there and rushed her to the ER. What a week I have had but I am doing much better and thanks to everyone that has thought about me or said a prayer for me. Tuesday morning was very scary but honestly I do not remember much about it- Once I realized what had happened I know that I am very lucky to be alive and after we got home from the hospital and I saw all the blood on the concrete I was shocked. Thanks goodness no brain damage and just a mild concussion and 8 staples in my head. Trying to get paperwork to go back to work Monday is a nightmare. My daughter Shelley and my Husband Marshall have been my bodyguards for the last 3 days and friends and family and co-workers have made sure we had dinner every night.Angie Harris just bought over some BBQ chicken, yams and green beans for our dinner tonight and it smells so yummy. Anyways just wanted to let everyone know I was on the mend and to thank everybody for thinking of me and I will be back on RS soon. Love you all Betty

I know you said you have a mild concussion, but please let yourself heal. I got a moderate concussion in July. It was awful. I was laid up 6 weeks and had terrible headaches til about mid-October. You have to be really careful about head injuries.

family and friends looking out for me--My husband has been my rock and I guess more like my body guard and I really do not like being smothered but I did not complain at all and my daughter there is not enough that I can say about how good she has been to me--I am slowly getting back to normal and hope to get back to work on Monday and then get the staples out
