My email Mightymom74@att.net has been hacked. Please do not open any emails coming from that email. People are saying they are emailing me and it is bouncing back. Like it is deleted. I can't even access my secret questions. They changed those to. I called ATT and they said since I am not a paying ATT account holder of last year and it is called a free account. They can do nothing about it. I had personal stuff, pictures, gift cards etc in my email. I'm scared of ID theft now but ATT will not do nothing about it.

that really stinks. I wondering if it is also that way with hotmail, or yahoo accounts ect. I only use my free account for online stuff, but think I will be more careful about linking it to other things. Sorry this happened to you, seems I have been hearing more and more of it.

We canceled our web tv account when we got computers - about a year later people started to get spam from DH's and my webtv account.
We called webtv and they said there is nothing they can do.
We changed all our pass words.

I to used to have AT & T however when they changed computer needs and wanted 100.00 I changed companies. then found out other telephone companies have to use AT & T lines. AT & T will not let anyother telepone company come in and put their own lines in. Then when I order Cincinnati Bell AT & T came and hooked the phones up. Now many times my old AT & T email gets many of my emails and when I email some one from my Cincinnati bell email it show up on the AT &T email. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. I called AT&T and no one will talk to me about it. I called Cicinnati Bell and they say everything is ok. I can not open AT &T email account I can delete emails on it and when I send something I can delete that. I also have some pictures on the old email. about all you do is send the important items to your new email and then delete the old stuff on the email account you do not use with A T& T. I also changed all passwords on my sites on the computer.
AT &T phone calls goes to there call center, some are here in U.S.A. but the large one is in India. Thats what upsets me is the other country has all personal information. A T & T also puts in time warner lines as time warner rents the A T & T phone lines
All other companies that use A T& T lines must pay a rental fee and the rental fee you pay for but is not listed on the bill. AT &T is pricing themselves out of business as they are upgrading their lines so they can charge more, yes they offer more services but you do no have options with them.

it happened to me this past summer on my yahoo account. They deleted all my contacts and erased all my mail. Yahoo was great though and reinstated all my contacts, etc. I sure hope you get things straightened out. A friend of ours cleaned out my computer after it happened and found 27 Trojan viruses on it from being hacked!!!!!!
