Got a call fom my mortgage campnay saying my mortgage is two months overdue. Checked online with my bank, it showed all the payments were processed, and in fact I am a month ahead. Spent 2 hours on the phone with them trying to straighten it out, I paid a little extra so the amounts didn't match and paid early, so instead of processing my payment, they applied it to the principal and had the payments past due. They wanted to charge me two months of late fees over $200 each, and I was livid. They told me I needed to call each month and tell them to apply this to my payment to avoid confusion. Then they wanted to take a payment over the phone and charge me $50 for accepting a payment by phone! I will not be sending extra to them ever again and not a minute early. Had some extra cash for once and decided to pay ahead, and all it got me was a headache! I am now paid up til December, and they were trying to charge me late fees!!!
Made my boys bring all their dirty clothes down to be washed, stack of dirty laundry higher than the washing machine. Got 2 loads washed and dried, started another load and 10 minutes later found my laundry room flooded. Hubby took a look and found the water is draining out of the washer as soon as it goes in. It's 12 years old, guess we need a new one. I have a pile of soaking wet, dirty clothes and a bunch of towels we used to dry it up. It got into the floor of my pantry closet, and a bunch of boxes on the bottom got wet (boxes of Kleenex, boxes of juice boxes, etc. So I have a bunch of soggy wet paper/cardboard that I had to clean up too. While moving things around to get everything cleaned up, hubby broke the metal dryer vent that vents the dryer outside, so said not to use the dryer until he gets that replaced or we will have dryer lint all over the room.
I had put together a nice chicken meal to go in the oven before I got into that mess. The oven wouldn't turn on. We've been having that problem off and on for two years but usually can get it started eventually. Not today, so I had to put this in the fridge and come up with something else for dinner at the last minute. We've had repairmen out twice and it just doesn't seem to get fixed.
And tomorrow I have doctor's apointments, so won't be able to get out and look for something until tomorrow night.
My son's confirmation is next weekend, I need to get the house ready for the big family party after, and need the oven working so I can make the food, darn it! ANd of course, this is going to cost me money to do the food for 60 people. That was going to kill my budget already, now I have to deal with these things, and replace all my stockpiled Kleenex and stuff!

Then I think of others who have likely gone thru similar, or worse, & I remember that tomorrow is a new day & things WILL get better. And when things are better, I appreciate it that much more. :)
But I still have to have my own little pity party now & then, & vent. LOL But it also helps! :)

DH said we have had that replaced twice already. For now, we just won't be able to use the oven, the rest works fine, and every now and then he can get the oven to start, so not willing to spend the money. I have slow cookers and electric roasters, so can live without it for a bit.

THANKS!! 10|2|If you look in the oven and turn it on does the ignitor have a glow? It's the most common piece to stop working. I just replaced mine this weekend.
