It looks like I'm doing this hernia surgery again! He looked at the CT scan and he could see the hernia of the abdominal wall. Interesting that the first radiologist didn't see it, but a friend in NY looked at it and saw it. This doctor was nice enough to double check himself, when he found out I had a copy of the CT scan at home, he asked me to run home and get it and he saw me right away when I got back. I knew it was there, because it hurts so bad whenever I walk around too much, bend or lift. This time he said the surgery will be more difficult than last time and recovery will be much longer. Because it's a repair and he has to go through in a different area and cut through scar tissue, etc.... He said that this time I'll be out of work 6-8 weeks! UGH!!! I hope this gets fixed finally and I'm so not looking forward to this! The last surgery was worse than child birth! And I'm not exagerating! They are trying to schedule it for Friday the 5th. I think I'm going to cry! I've been fighting it off... but I can't help but think of all the things that can go wrong this time... each time the open your abodomen there are so many chances for dangerous scar tissues (adhesion) issues, cutting the intestine, etc!
