Hubby told me not to spend anything today, but I told him we REALLY needed to go to the farmers market and we needed a few things from the store... he thought it was a bad idea since things are really tight right now... so I had to find a solution. I came up with a plan that would allow me to get all my deals/grocery shopping needed for the week and the fresh produce that I normally would get at the farmers market. I had a bunch of $2 off produce coupons for Publix and a $5 off a $50 purchase coupon, so we went to a bunch of different stores today since the coupons had to be used today and you can only use one per customer per day at the store (my son and daughter (8 and 10 yrs old) went with us as well... they were customers and got to help us decide what produce to buy). This is for all the trips combined. We had to go to 3 different stores. But we were able to picked up:

1 Honey Dew Melon
1 Cucumber
1 Red Leaf Lettuce
1 Bag of Salad Peppers (I think there were 5 or 6 in the bag)
1 Bag of Potatoes
2 Green Onions
2.72 lbs bananas
1.44 lbs Tomatoes
1 Publix Gallon Milk
1 package Sliced Mushrooms
1 head of Brocolli
1 head of Cauliflower
1.22 lbs White Grapes
1 Aunt Jemima French Toast
1 Aunt Jemima Pancake
2 Mama Francesca Italian Shaker Cheese
4 Buitoni Linguine/Fettucine
4 Stay Free Ultra Thins
4 Jose Ole Breakfast Burrito's
6 Velveeta Shells and Cheese
1 Nestle Drumstick Cones
4 Powerades

Total came to:
$16.20
A Savings of $80.78

I thought this was a pretty good trip... and I managed to find time to list 19 auctions at Ebay this morning! It's very rare that I ever list that much in one day! Hoping for a good day of listing again tomorrow! 1|1|you did good , i have left my house several times with only 2.00 in change in my pocket and come home with a truck load lol ..my hubby thinks its amazing and brags to everyone ,, but its a lot of work to leave home with 2.00 and come home with 50.00 cash and a pick up truck full of grocceries , i love it so much its addicting , doing what i do , i know no matter how hard it gets my kids wont go hungry and we will make it ..lol ./..cs|christinasears|chistinasears@aol.com|04:37:13|09/16/2012|
