This may sound weird, but I've never really shopped at Target.. We have 2 of them about 25 miles away.. I'd like to learn to ropes. Do you have any tips? Can I stack or combine coupons? And do you know of a good newsletter I can subscribe to that will give me Target shopping tips every week? THANK YOU SO MUCH for any help!

1) be careful the cashiers ring in every coupon.
They tend to argue tho they know two coupons
per item are allowed as long as they are store/mfr.
2) go to targets website and print coupons from there
(this gets harder every day IMHO)
3) cruise all of the end caps for clearance items
at the start of your trip.
4) make sure you read the circular for the week
you are going.
If you're traveling 25 miles make sure you
bring every single coupon you have in case
something on clearance is something you
need. Usually it's cereal, coffee, snacks, and
lots of personal care items at mine but once
it was dove chocolates.

Your tips are very helpful thank you!:) I was also wondering if the coupon value can exceed the price of the item -ie- something that is .99 and you are using a $1 coupon.. Also, I was wondering if I can use the same Target kind of Target coupon more then once.. The Target coupons say "Limit one coupon or offer per guest".. Say, can I go back in another time and do the same offer again?

So yes you can.
And if it's 1.00 coupon and the item is 99c you can 'make them' adjust the coupon to 99c or else it won't go thru.
You have to be firm with them tho.

is very good on food prices i think they believe if you come in for food you mught also buy something else. i noticed on their website if you buy two of the very large diapers-pampers you get a 20.00 giftcard ,this was only on the website told my daughter about it seems like a good deal if you have a baby. 5|1|I printed out their coupon policy.. Well, it wasn't a big hallabaloo, but I did get a few things... Luckily, I printed out and studied their coupon policy and brought it with me because I ended up having to pull it out. They have their Up&Up brand pain reliever on sale for .99 and I printed out their $1 coupon so the registered beeped. I read in their policy that they will adjust the coupon price to .99 so it's ok for me to use a coupon that is valued over the item price. The lady automatically said that the coupon wasn't any good.. I HATE it when they make up things just because they just don't know! I immediately told her that in their policy it says to adjust the price and explained to her why her register beeped. She had to ask for a second opinion of course and the other cashier told her without hesitation, how to adjust the price.. SOOOOO I got that for free and plan to go back again if we are headed that way.. I got Skinny Cow boxed snacks for .99 after both Target and Manf coupon so I was happy about that.. and found that they carry the Coffee Mate Heavenly Bliss which none of the other stores do.. I had $1 coupons on those... Thats all I got but I read on Totally Target that there are more deals like free Glade and a few other good deals so i'm going to try and go back... :)

I noticed even with coupons the prices are still higher then what I pay without using coupons at other stores so I will only be doing "special" shopping there and not my normal shopping.

I have 2 of the 5.00 gift cards that I roll along with a target coupon and a manufacturer's coupons and I always do it with a deal that gets me another 5.00 gift card
Last week they had the up and up toothbrushes and Colgate toothpaste--Had manufacturer's coupon for Colgate and target coupons for colgate and the toothbrushes and I would buy 2 toothbrushes and 1 toothpaste and the total has to be over 5.00 or you will not get the gift card-The register prompts for the gift card and the cashier gives you that and then I gave her all my coupons and my total was less than 2.00 so a money maker on that. I used a gift card to pay and have a balance on that plus have 2 of the 5.00 gift cards to roll next time they have something I want.

Sometimes we go to the city more then once a week so I can always try and go by myself first of the week and then when husband needs to go to Lowes or something(he's always got a project going) or he wants something at Costco etc, I can go back to Target and do a second shopping trip. We'll see how it all works out.. I guess it will take a while for me to learn the ropes and to fine tune it.lol Thanks for your tips..

As long as one says Target coupon and the other manuf. coupon you can use them together.

You can find the coupons at the target website down at the bottom as a Jennifer said it could either print as target or Manufacturer but you will not know until you print
