$4000.00. The other $1000.00 isn't covered. That is an approximate estimate, power chairs run about $5000.00.
It wouldn't help to get a used one as they want $1000.00 or more and there is no servicing if a used one is purchased.

\bowling nite out car washes, contact major business for donation
contact United Way in your area too

my suggestion would be to see if you have a local Shriner's branch or Scottish Rite. Also, check your local family serivce agency and/or salvation army. Although these charity may not be able to assist you if you ask them questions about other charities available you may just find one that is local. Also, too look to your bigger churches in your area and call them. You'd be surprised that they may be able to help with part of it.
