On page 19 in the Aug issue of Alk You mag it says to "Steer clear of mail-in rebates. The savings might seem great, but if you don't keep the receipt, cut out the UPC and mail everything off in the short time allowed, you won't save a dime."

4|2|Many companies who offer rebates rely on "slippage" as they know that a percentage of consumers will forget about mailing in the rebate after they buy the product.
