the lowest picture package i could get for my son is $133 for his senior pics...highway robbery!!! they have picture packs for $500...they are s insane. well im having an auction to try to raise some money for this, i wont let him go without his pics. please bid if you can, thanks.

took my own....if you can find a cap and gown from a previous graduate , you could take your own or go to Wal-Mart if they have a picture studio in your area. I hate those fake posed photos. i cannot believe though that they charge so much! is this day an age how can people afford a $500 package?
i wanted to just buy the cd and have them made at walmart but of course they dont sell them, it only comes free with a $500 package, s-holes! with tax etc a 8x10 and 2 5x7's were $133........i found a code online for 8 free wallets saving me $43, i just think school is nothing but how much money you can throw at it anymore, just discusting. .

does he even care about the pictures? cause I tell you I have agonized over paying for things for my kid's and when I talked to them about it, they are like "forget about it! don't want it! don't waste your money!" and then there are the things they want that I don't want to pay for! lol

Most people have digital cameras anyway and it seemed like a waste of funds to buy through school. So instead DH spent an afternoon in the park taking some shots of Sierra which turned out beautiful! He was able to capture her as she really is... just comfortable. One of the photos went to the school for yearbook and then we printed extras for family. I don't think we spent any money (Dh works at a print shop, so printing was free) and as a bonus father/daughter got to spend the day together.
