and my lung and especially my chest still hurts (a lot) at first my throat felt like it does if your glands are swollen.
That's ok now, but boy my chest is giving me the problem. Able to breathe much better now compared to before it was done.
I see the Dr., on Monday. Seems that I had so much congestion and muscus in and below my lung and hubby told me that the Dr., said there was some fungus. Wow. Hubby never gets the story straight. So I have to wait until I talk with the Dr. But is it normal to have the chest hurt and still feel like there is still some congestion. Have felt very tired since I came home, done absolutely nothing and feel like I would if I tore the house apart.
Just curious, is this normal?

Hi Flapper: I haven't had that examination, but I just read about it on The Cleveland Clinic website. Apparently there are a few special tests that can be done during the procedure. Depending on which one(s) you had, I would imagine that some pain/soreness would result. It's a great diagnostic tool. I would recommend phoning your doctor, if you don't feel alot better by Monday. HTH

Kathryn 2|2|Thank You Kathryn, I will get on the website to see what they have to say. I am seeing the Dr., on Monday as a follow-up, Again Thank You.|flapper|joyphalen@yahoo.com|08:22:28|07/21/2012|

I have a cronic condition and there is no end in sight for me. In the all those times I have had all different results after mostly sore throat but sometimes a burning in my lungs. Takes a few days mine I believe is from the GA and the air they give me while I am out. I think that is where the burning comes from anyway. 4|2|Wow, angel 14 times. Went to the Dr. on Tues and he said the fungus is from the Advair inhaler and now on another inhaler and a prescription|flapper|joyphalen@yahoo.com|11:04:14|07/26/2012|

It's amazing how it takes awhile for the hurt to go away. This coming Tues., will be 2 weeks and it still hurts. Still getting the congestion like I did before. He wants to see me in a couple of weeks. I think I may go the Roswell cancer DR to see if they can figure out what's going on. It seems it's affecting my right ear. Ear was hurting and a lot of pressure. Not sure if the matter is cleared up. Chest still hurts, but it maybe from the fungus I seemed to have developed from the Advair inhaler. Getting fed up at this point. Seems it's always something. Nothing major just small things. I don't know if like you that I may continue for the rest of my life getting a bronchoscopy done.
Boy, 14 is sure a lot. I sure hope you don't have to do anymore. Good luck to you.
