that is the hottest I have ever seen it here, suppose to get up again today. So what am I doing, out pulling weeds, lol, every once in awhile I come in for a break, but I can not stand to stay in the house when I know I will be going back to work in less than 6 weeks.

Humidity is only 51% right now but the dew pts. are at 75 & that makes it rough to breathe too. :(
Thinking of moving to Scotland. LOL I have a cousin who lives there & they don't have this. They don't even have screens on their windows cuz they also don't have the bugs we do here. And winters only get down into the 30's. But they also get alot more rain where I do need sun. Uff da tho on the sun this week. Sheesh!

Heat index today was 112°. Cold front is supposed to move in by tomorrow & drop temps back down into the mid-80's. Aaaah! R-E-L-I-E-F!
Sadly, 2 people in the neighboring city have died due to the heat. One of them was 68 yr. old lady who was found dead in her home last night. According to the news report, she had an a/c but it was on the wrong setting so it was blowing HOT air into her house which registered a temp of 109°. :( I haven't heard more info on the other person; just that they believe it too was a heat-related death. And 3 other people elsewhere in my state have also died due to the heat, bringing the toll to 5. Very sad. :(
The Salvation Army set up a cooling center Weds. for the homeless &/or those w/out a/c, but talk about bad luck as the a/c there went kaput, & they were still working on getting it fixed this morning. Ooof!!
