Hi Everyone,
I haven't really been online til earlier this afternoon, we were hit by that devastating storm in Virginia. It's been horrible, but finally relief today, although another storm is coming this way and is suppose to hit us tonight, I hope and pray it's mild. I never wanna go through this again. Below is my post from facebook, so you can see what all went on...I didn't even get a Sunday paper for the coupons :( Hugs, Rebekka

Just so glad to be home! That storm slammed us Friday Night, at 9pm we lost power, it was horrible, the wind was so bad, I thought it was a tornado..It was 95 degrees at 9pm, but an hour later after the storm hit, it went down to 75 degrees, so we opened the windows and stayed downstairs in the livingroom, but by Saturday noon, it was unbearable, we dropped Cheyenne off at a friend's (they had power) and we drove around with our dogs for 2 hours, it looks like a war zone around here in some areas, we were gonna stay at our church in Waynesboro to cool off, but they didn't have power either, so we came back home and decided we had to get a hotel room, didn't really have the money for it, had to use part of our rent money for July, but what can ya do, Will was starting to get really sick and I didn't wanna end up in the ER with him or something worse, so we went and got a hotel room, it was the last one, we were lucky...My son Timmy and his wife and our grandbaby came over and stayed with us around 5ish, then they left at 11:30 last night, but called at 12:30 am saying it was so warm still and the baby was getting really fussy, so we told them to come over, so Timmy dropped off Alayna and he and his wife stayed in their place downstairs with the windows open, they said they were fine...Will got a call back from the electric company at 2:30 am saying our power had been restored, so he headed over to our place to make sure and also wanted to check our food in the chest freezer, wanted to make sure nothing thawed out, so it was all solid frozen.. I was so glad, cause I didn't know what we would do if we lost everything in that freezer, we only get paid once a month (the second Wed) and so I shop usually for all the meats and things once a month...I really am hoping our landlord will wave the $80 to $100 late fees for the rent, cause we are gonna be short, since I had to use the money for the hotel, but if they don't, then I'll just work that in our budget somehow...We checked out at noon today and came home, I was so exhausted only 4 hours sleep in two days, I ended up taking a two hour nap...We are suppose to get more nasty weather, I pray it isn't as bad and we don't lose power again... Anyways I wanted to give you all an update and let you know we are okay...
