Thought I would post this for all you dealing with cancer with yourself, family or friends. in the June 25th Woman's World on page 54 there is a article about a young woman and a new low dose chemo she used to beat cancer. I will do a summery of it here from the article:
She had a new los dose chemotherapy..less drugs meant fewer side effects. It's called Insul Potentiation Therapy or IPT her Dr told her explaining that patients were given an injection of insulin to lower their sugar level before being given their chemotherapy drug. Cancer cells love sugar and when they can't find much they start gobblign up evertying in their path trying to get as much as they can, thereby soaking up the chemo drug..and because doctors could be certain the cancer cells would absorb the drug, they could administer much lower doses. Afterward a sugary juice or a snack quickly returned sugar levels to normal. Plus the Dr assured the gal studies had shown the treatment was safe and equally as efetive as traditional chemotherapy.
The gal went thru 2 months of weekly treatments, then monthly treatments for 6 more months and just like her friend who had this new low dose chemo, she didn't suffer a single side effect.
