Been in the mid to upper 90's here all week & altho the humidity wasn't bad, the dew pts. had been in the upper 60's to as much as 72 (70 & above is oppressive). FINALLY got some much needed rain w/a minor storm last night & oh, it is SOOOO nice & breathable this morning! The sun is shining & there's an awesome breeze! :)

It is so hot here. Yesterday the record-high temp. in Little Rock was 105-degrees! It was 108-degrees in Russellville, which is also nearby. The record-setting low temp last night was only 80-degrees...awful! The state is under a Burn Ban, a Severe Drought Alert, and an Extreme Wildfire Alert...and a wildfire is currently being fought here in Greenbrier where I live (although it is not near me, thankfully). There is no rain anymore...and my yard died long ago. 9|2|I agree: Arkansas is burning up and it's only going to get worse.
