and everything seems to be going good. Still sore, but seem to be healing good.
Thanks so much for all the good thoughts and prayers.

It been a hard week that is for sure. I had surgery monday. Had Tuesday off from
work, then back to work on Wed. I had help, but still hard. I took this pass weekend
off and today for the holiday. So that helped.

Just spending the day relaxing a little.

I have been saying prayers for those that need it on the board. I just have not
been able to sit at my desk long and post. But I am thinking of you all.

STAY AWAY FROM PORK, BACON, RIBS, ETC, for at least 3 more weeks

Don't eat barbecue stuff, spicy, or zingy things...even pop or pizza can give you an attack...

Stick to bland ( AND BORING )stuff for at least another 3 weeks.

If you are on meds, break the horse-pill sized ones in half and take them...

Watch your intake of "gassy" veggies....broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and beans...it takes about 4 weeks for your body to SHARE the responsibilities that the gall bladder did...plus take care of their own jobs.

It will seem like a long time, but considering the trade-off of pain free...it's worth it!

If you have a reaction to anything...chart it..and avoid it for another couple of weeks..

Lay down for a few minutes if you suddenly feel that burning at the back of the throat...

All of this is NOT dangerous....just inconvenient as heck!

I still have an issue with fried/greasy foods.

Listen to your Dr, I had excess scar tissue and had to have an additional surgery.

Sending positive thoughts. Julie
