Hello to my RS family, once again I need to ask for prayers for myself and my family. It's like it's always something around here :( I haven't been feeling too well for quite awhile now, but just try to keep going, but yesterday I just felt so bad, that I ended up in the ER. I've been having some pains in my chest, a burning in my chest (I do have gerd but never felt a deep burn like this), my left arm got sharp pains, it went numb then starting getting the burning feeling too, plus I felt very dizzy and fatiqued. I haven't slept well at all and I think it's dragging me down too. I figured it may be my gerd kicking up really bad, but I don't know, so I decided to go in to be safe. My blood pressure was up a bit and my heart rate was up a little, but I do have psvt (makes your heart rate go high), so they decided to run some tests, I didn't think they would do anything, cause I don't have insurance, last time I went in, a few years ago, they didn't do much cause of no insurance. Well this lady dr that I had was so nice and she did blood work, chest x-ray and other stuff. They also gave me this nasty medicine to drink and said it would help the burning issue and my gerd, it made me feel really weird for awhile, but then I was okay. The dr said my blood work and everything looked okay, so that it was up to me if I wanted to go home or be admitted, she said that she could admit me, in case I just didn't feel comfortable going home, I decided to go home, cause I didn't want another big bill. She has ordered me a nuclear stress test with the treadmill at the hospital, so I've got to schedule that, hopefully they will do it without insurance. She told me to try to get rest and not stress over things, but that is easier said than done, I'm so worried right now over this stress test and the bills, I don't know what we are gonna do, plus she gave me a prescription, so I need to see how much that is gonna cost. Cheyenne's insurance ran out in April, cause with the raise through social security for Will, we make too much money, I looked it up, we make $23 over the amount, this is ridiculous. I'm going to reapply for her and also myself and just pray, maybe they will give it to us, or I don't know what to do, Cheyenne is on prescription medicine too and now I have to pay cash for it too..I'm sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, I'm just very worried about how we are going to pay all of these things and get the medicines we need :( Please pray for us, I really appreciate it so very much...Hugs, Rebekka

Here in NC there is something that children can get when they
don't have medicaid. I think it is call Health Choice, it
does have small copay's. No sure about VA.

o I am in the same boat,bills up the ying yang, I know all about stressing over them, but really try not to stress yourself out. . Perhaps you could work out a payment plan with them and send them something...even $20 a month, something...That is what I am doing. @..@

Just giving everyone an update on myself, I was feeling a bit better, but today I feel kinda blah again. I think I'm stressing over these tests. Tomorrow is the first part of the tests, I have to be there in the afternoon (which is good due to my insomnia), but I'm so scared and nervous over it all and I think it's making me feel sick :( Please keep praying to give me strength to get through all of this, I appreciate the thoughts and prayers. Thursday is the other part of my test, so the next two days I'll be a nervous wreck :( Thank you for being there for me my dear RS Family :)
