I did a trade for 36 gain coupons..
I sent $2 for the trade cash.
First env. got lost I guess. It didn't make it there.
So I figure things happen...So I send $2 again.
I email her when the coupons didn't show up the first time.
Said she didn't receive my end. So I resent it on 4/26
Got the env. today with 4 stamps and a note
Trade date 4/17
held till 5/1/12
received env. 5/3/12
Returned $2 less $.45 postage.
She sent stamps...I sent cash...shouldn't she send cash back?

WHATEVER YOU SENT TO HER SHOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO YOU IF THE TRADE WAS NOT MADE.
MY QUESTION IS THIS...
WHEN YOU EMAILED HER (WHEN SHE SAID THE COUPONS DIDNT ARRIVE)DID YOU TELL HER THAT YOU WERE RESENDING ON 4-26??
BECAUSE IF YOU DID TELL HER YOU WERE RESENDING SHE SHOULD HAVE LISTED THE (NEW) TRADE DATE AS 4-26 NOT 4-17 AS NOTED.

I have always planned to resend/refund (their choice) and then leave in their feedback that they claimed to not receive and I resent/refunded. It happens (lost mail) but sometimes I wonder if it happens as often as some members on here claim. If it was a postal mistake...no one loses anything with factual feedback. the person should have return cash not stamp since person has not email you without communicate. i need to know why the person hold the coupons until person get your mail first. did you know the person would hold coupon until person got end of your trade.
person send you four stamps return mean worth 1.80 so person keep profit is .40 cent. postage which she charge you for return back. i really disagree on this trade. person should have wrote return to you when person get your 2nd mail.
i wonder if person is from here or other website?

that person, you waited for the coupons until to have the other trader decide NOT to trade with you so now you have to start all over from the beginning and try to get the coupons for the date you need.

If she no longer planned on completing the trade by sending you the coupons, when she received your cash trade envie, why didn't she simply NOT open it & write, "Refused. Return to sender" on the front of your trade envie w/an arrow pointing to your return NAZ & drop it back in the mail??? No additional postage required. People do it all the time.

Then they wouldn't have been traded our from under you when you resent the payment. Shelly you have been a trader here for YEARS with a great reputation. Why does anyone trade with someone that holds the coupons? My trades go out the next day (2 days LATEST for big trades). I don't understand why you didn't receive your coupons by the time you resent payment. Then you wouldn't have gotten stamps either. Lousy trading practices IMO. one person said she didnt but post marks do not fib. not fair to the person who sends out their end as agreed.

it within two days of making the trade....I would never hold a trade, but with me...it's a matter of racing to get out the door in the am, dropping the kids off, then making it to work......thankfully many traders on here do accept pp....but on the rare times I trade with someone without, I send cash.
I prefer pp because I can send the money immediately and not have to worry about getting it to the PO
On my road (LOOOOOONG dirt road....there isn't a place to drop the mail.....and I don't have a box with a flag)...kind of stinks,,,and my mailbox locks so I have to unlock it then lock it back up in hopes my mailman will pick it up...and honestly, I just don't have that much confidence he'll do it...so I prefer to hand deliver it to the po.

I had a problem a couple of weeks ago when I attempted to place another order for coupons, I was told they hadn't gotten my last payment...I had no way of knowing that my payment hadn't arrived as I normally give 5 days for my payment to reach them and 5 days for the coupons to reach me so we were still in that time frame...so I offered to resend payment but the coupons had already been reposted (granted I don't trade with this person if I need coupons for a sale) It is frustrating as up until the new year I had traded with them and they mailed when I did (and I am talking about large trades, $30.00 +)and the 1st of the year that changed without any notice, but it wasn't due to me as they hold ALL trades now(I think) anyways, it is sad we can't trust everybody....

unless it is new person then i may hold trade first
if person should have put note in post that let people know that person would hold coupons until receive or notify them in email as courtesy.
