It would call, but then when the person answered, it would disconnect. Or it would disconnect during the call. Or it would cut in and out during the call.

I have a brand new computer and if I get a call, I have to close all browsers on it, as someones voice will start skipping or I get a echo. O ther than that I have had no problems with it and probably the newer version of it is better now and perfected. I save a bunch of money having it, only paid $30 this year and was well worth it. 4|3|Had one and gave up trying to use it|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|15:52:33|05/02/2012|

It seems to work better for some people than others, maybe depending on what kind of computer they have or something.

The problem with mine was the delay and echo it caused. It made it totally unenjoyable to talk to anyone on the phone because you kept missing what the other person was saying or hearing your own voice echo. They recommend switching the usb port you're using if you have this problem, but that never helped us.

If you happen to get it to work, it's great savings. 3|1|anymore opinions?|androwz|androwz@aol.com|15:51:04|05/02/2012|

You have to check into what the speed of your high speed internet service is providing /or dsl plus you try to pick the tower that
is closet to you for your area. I would check first to see what speed your internet is running and maybe consider going up a notch
on the speed. My understanding is the higher the speed the better it will work.

Mine works just fine. You do also have to have the 2.0 usb port and once in a while you might have to change to another usb if you are
having echo issues. Only thing I can not do, is move the browser while talking. But other than that work fine and can not beat
the price . I paid for the five yrs for $59.99 I think it has gone up now though........

It's just ok. We were getting the echo, too, then someone told us about putting it in the first USB port. Now we don't get the echo. Only problem is you have to keep the 'puter on. Ours is in the bedroom and the sound of the puter running is annoying.
