I always let my trader that I got their end of the trade - but they seldom do the same. I even ask that they email me when they receive my end on my trade slips and include my email address but most do not. I keep all of my trading emails and have a folder in my email named "trades pending" and I don't delete anything until I hear from them - which sometimes is never - so I clean out my folder every couple of months. I figure if I haven't heard anything from them by then, then everything must have arrived OK.

If you are a HONEST trader, there is nothing to fear in having a feedback link. If you do not have one, please set one up, BEFORE contacting me for a trade. I know it's not an excuse...but my work schedule and my college schedule mixed with my PTA involvement and kids activities is pretty tough......sometimes I don't even get my mail until 10:30 pm...then I head straight to bed..and the mail sits on my desk for about a week before I finally address it...by then, I've forgotten who I traded with and for what......
Please know that I am ALWAYS grateful for trading with you wonderful ladies and gents......and I hope it's not held too much against me....I try to always be prompt and would never not send my end right away....but I'm BAD at emailing to let people know I've received my end.

I really do.. BUT I know that I am bad about that...perhaps I will try to get better at it..
I know we have really great traders on here...AND for those that I've traded with and not replied with

I always request & hope the other person lets me know too. A little peace of mind knowing our trades reach the appropriate destination safe & sound is nice to have. :)

Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username. Due to recent problem trades, if I haven't traded w/you before, I will probably require you send your end 1st or I'll need LEGIT trade references/feedback. I will be happy to provide the same. IF you plan to hold your end til you've received mine, I will need to know that IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE trade is finalized.

I too more often than not do forget. But when I get an email from the otehr person I do respond immediately to say that I received the trade. I get so busy with everything that I just figure if I don't hear anything, then everything is okay. I know it's not the best thing, but while my intentions are good, time seems to be an issue.
