carpenter and he had to get some because we had
a water pipe that wasn't turned off upstairs and
had water stains downstairs in my spare room. I
just asked him about it and he said that he wasn't
sure about it killing mold. He had gotten it at
Sherwin-Williams paint store. He said to go to a
reputable paint store and ask. They know more about
that stuff than Home Depot or Lowes.
10|8|It wont kill mold that already exists.....you have to clean the area with bleach first to remove the actual mold. But the Kilz will cover the mold stains beautifully, and it will help prevent further molding into the wall itself should mold reappear.
