I was surprised at the sell by dates on many of the items! The Cheese slices say sell by some date in September! So I know I will get a chance to use them all! I think I did pretty good at Publix today. I saved $171.00 with coupons and sales and paid only $123.00!

paid $123.68, saved $171.15! I used $50.01 in store coupons, $47.44 in vendor coupons and had 73.70 in special savings from sales I was surprised at the sell by dates on many of the items! The Cheese slices say sell by some date in September! So I know I will get a chance to use them all!
Also made a trip to CVS and picked up 4 coke 12 packs (my husband has to have his soda) and 10 Mars single serve candy bars after coupons it came to like $6.30 which I thought was a great deal as well!
Now I'm going to go lay down and rest! I way over did it today and I have to go back to work on Monday.... not sure how I'll stay awake all day after being off for a couple of weeks.

I had a lot of time while I was in bed recovering to match up coupons My daughter helped get stuff off the lower shelves and pick up anything heavy and she even loaded the checkout counter for me while I matched up the coupons for the cashier. It took two grocery baskets to bring it all to the car and she helped me lift it all into the car. My Hubby, Son and Daughter unloaded the stuff for me.
I had surgery for a hernia and it's still quite painful, but I have to go back to work on Monday, so I figured I need to start getting around a bit. It's been 2 weeks since the surgery and I have a 4-5 inch cut in my abdomen which is healing, although not pretty looking. I imagine it will be several more weeks before I'm good as new. Can't wait to be able to bend down and pick stuff up off the floor! It's driving me crazy not being able to bend down! LOL
