now I can say Cancer Free for 3 years. Been having problems with my lungs, having difficulty breathing, My Dr. thought it was acute bronchtis, but not sure, went to see a GI Dr and will have a scope done on the 7th of may and on the 18th of this month will see a pulmonary Dr. Hope they can find out what is going on, at least I know it's not cancer. Thank God. But anything I do, I have to sit as I can hardly breathe. It seems it's always something. I have seen so many Doctors these past 3 months for one thing or another. Getting tired of it. Sometimes I feel that if I let myself go, I could go into depression, and I have to fight it. Getting old, comes with all the aches & pain. They say the ahhhh the Golden Years, ha, I'm beginning to think they suck. Just venting right now. I know I should be thankful for being cancer free, I am, boy I really am, every 6 months I get scared and when I go in my blood pressure is so high.
Thanks for letting me vent. Feel better about it now that I can vent it here. If I say anything to hubby, he just tells me it will be alright and just doesn't understand what I feel so it's better to write, as deep down he doesn't really want to hear it and I know it scares him too, can see it in his face.
Then on top of it all, he might have prostate cancer. On meds now and will have another blood test done, if it's still high then he will have a biopsy. So we are both scared about that too.
Boy what a year so far.

Hoping everything turns out ok Joy. I know you are scared. You have gone through more than anyone I know and I give you credit to stay as strong and positive. Keep your chin up and I pray that you are able to breathe better soon and your dh will also be ok.

and I understand the need to talk it out, men internalize, we on the other hand need to work things outloud. They don't always get that. Praying you also get some good news on your husband, prostate cancer is one that has hit in my family.

there. I think that the worse part is not knowing.

through the same situation. You have 5 months to not even think about it and then the scan and wait for the news hoping it's good. The relief when you hear it is. So I know the feeling the ones that have the same experience. But the good news it is when you hear it. Thank you Lord for another day etc.

Just seem to have more inconveniences these days, but I'm alive and this can be fixed compared to having cancer again.
