I was wondering if you are able to send a bottle of alcohol in the mail.
I'm asking because my friend wanted to surprise her boyfriend and send him his favorite bottle of vodka (cause he loves getting mail) as a surprise. It would be mailed to the same zip code. i wasn't sure so i figured i would ask here
thanks!

.. 2|1|might depend on what state you are in|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|21:59:16|03/21/2012|
I'm in PA and I can't even order wine online unless it is from the liquor control board. I would check your state laws on it to be sure. 3|1|possibly can|qponlady|qponlady@ptd.net|20:36:34|03/23/2012|
If you tell your post office that you have a liquid bottle of alchol you want to send
as a gift it could possibly be sent but only ground but you would need to wrap it
really good and put fragile on it.

Send it via UPS. Pack well 5|1|no out of your state|qponlady|qponlady@ptd.net|15:55:06|03/25/2012|
I asked my husband about this he said probably not out of state.
It would probably be sent ground if packed properly. If you mail out of state
you would be hit with all kind of taxes. Why don't you just get a gift card from
the liquor store and send him that will be a lot cheaper in shipping.

specifies nothing flammeable. Alcokol is.
