I was at my niece's school (she is 9) and was supprised to see that several girls her age wear wearing bras. Let me tell you they did not have anything to put in it. LOL One girl even dies her hair. I think both boys and girls are being sexualized way too early these days, makes me cringe to think of what could happen to them with the freaks out there.
I was shopping for my niece and she is 7, wears a girls size 7/8...and I was really shocked at how racy some of the clothes were for little girls. Been a while since my girl was that little and the clothes weren't racy like that. but she really does have little boobies already! I can't believe it! The doctor said kids are hitting puberty at 9 or 10 years old. Some are hitting it earlier. Hard to believe! I thought my daughter had them because she was a little on the heavy side... but she went and lost some weight (of her own will because she was being teased, so she changed her diet to healthier foods and starting taking a lunch to school). But those little things are still there! She just has some bras that are like little half tank tops (not the sport ones), what she prefers to do is layer her clothes a bit to hide it.

There is a little girl that visits her grandmother (maybe 45 - 50 yrs old) during the summer. Last year we were in the lake swimming and she was there. My two neices were also there and she was showing them how there is this button on her swimsuit that blows up the top part to make it look like she has boobs. I was so surprised that a grandparent would buy something like that. But, then again my neice was wearing a bikini that was probably a size too small. She kept having to pull up the bottoms because it was riding way too low and showing parts. It was a string biking. No way would I ever buy my daughter, if I had one, a string bikini at the age of 12. And, I definitely would not let her walk down the street in it. My inlaws have a lake house and she was walking down their street which isn't really busy. 9 or 10 is an average age to start wearing something,it is a good time to get them used to wearing a undershirt, or sports bra.
