11 0|0|My new car! 1988 Jag XJ6!|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|15:20:34|03/12/2012|
I'm so happy that I cried, I love this car!! Bought it from an old farmer, in pristine condition and oh my does it ever drive smooth. So much power too, I literally glided up the mountain with ease. Leather everywhere inside, with polished walnut, power everything (so many buttons to push and I don't know how to use them all yet!) lol
I'm having so much fun driving this car and I had no idea how comfortable a car could be, probably has too much horsepower for a Mom like me to go grocery shopping. lol
Best thing is, paid cash, no payments!! :) 1|1|Oh no, you can't announce that without a picture to go along with it! LOL.|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|15:32:32|03/12/2012|

I had to stop myself from crying while driving! lolol Thank you! It is so pretty and I love it! Feels very safe too, very heavy car and should be good for my daughter to learn to drive in it. 5|1|I saw your car on FB...it's gorgeous...you would never believe it's over 20 yrs old! Of course a Jag is a HIGH quality car, they hold up tremendously! Congratulations! :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|17:53:36|03/12/2012|

6|2|Joy ...did you know this about Jags? info inside :)|Skaytes|skaytez@gmail.com|18:03:32|03/12/2012|
Jaguars actually use Ford products..at least engines and converters. I made catalytic converters for Jags for a number of years and boy were they PICKY! We even had to 'polish' the converters with a cloth to be sure they were shiny after they were welded and very picky with how we ground off any tiny flecks of weld splatter as well. They also had to fit 'perfectly' in the gauges..no pounding them in to 'make' them fit like Chrysler did. I would buy a Jag product (if I won the lottery of course!) any day (and Ford!) for their quality alone. :) 9|3|in '89 ford took it over so this 88 was the last year purely from jaguar|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|18:11:47|03/12/2012|
I've been reading like crazy about it and we ordered a haynes manual for it so we can do the repairs...don't even want to think about taking it to a jag dealer for anything. 10|3|I didnt know that! It sounds like Jaguar put Ford to the standards for their products....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:13:20|03/12/2012|

7|2|ty Joy!! :) it is gorgeous for being that old|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|18:09:36|03/12/2012|
The paint is peeling a bit on the roof and could use a new paint job but because the engine is so good and the interior in like new condition, think we are going to go ahead and spring for the paint job. I'm thinking black...umm because my husband said no to PINK! lolol 8|1|Wish you the best !!|melpaul|Melpaul199@aol.com|18:09:46|03/12/2012|
