My daughter turned 18 in 2011 and she has been receiving SSD, survivor benefits since her father passed away in 2001. I am about to do her taxes and I wonder if I need to report this income, it is not anywhere near taxable, her checks stopped in August and she was only getting 132/month. Can I just use her W-2 and leave out the SSD? Or do I need to report it anyhow, no matter if the amount is too low to be taxable? 1|1|File her taxes on 1040A|Abbicca|Abbicca@insightbb.com|15:33:06|03/09/2012|

Put the amount of social security on line 14A.... doesn't sound like anything should carry to line 14b, but I'd make it visible just to be safe.

Or line 20A if you prefer to use the complete 1040 form....just don't use the 1040EZ 2|2|Thank you so much!|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|16:33:04|03/09/2012|

I figured it might need reported, no matter if too low to be taxable but I didn't know I would need a 1040A. Was going to use the EZ so thank you very much!
