I'm looking for a very rich conditioner and moisturizing shampoo. I tried the pureology and didn't like it much because of the peppermint burn, not my cup of tea.
My daughter has colored her hair into oblivion and needs a rich conditioner, any ideas? My hair isn't colored but long and curly, both of us have long, thick, curly hair. Any suggestions?
I use biosilk serum right now too, liked the CHI for a while but got tired of it, any other good serums? 1|1|LOL Anything unscented!!!!!|suzhappy|suzhappy@yahoo.com|23:07:49|03/08/2012|

I considered adding a bit of melted coconut oil to a regular conditioner, do you know if this would work? I'm worried about it getting cold and solid in the bottle, maybe the hot shower would warm it up? 4|2|Coconut Oil for hair....|Sharon|corvettelady@lavabit.com|23:44:03|03/08/2012|

My one daughter permed her hair last year and it was a disaster! She asked me what to use to calm it down so I bought the coconut oil for hair treatment & organic hair oils from Tropical Traditions for her to try. She used it a few times and said it worked very well and felt more softer too, so I was glad. I'm sure any virgin coconut oil will work. Here's the link for your info:

My girl's hair is just fried right now. I read that suggestion on the site, to rub into hair while wet, think I will try that and tell my daughter to try it too. We have Kelapo right now, I love it, it says unrefined too. I did enter to win a gallon of the gold label trop traditions just yesterday on a blog. Oh, let me find it for you to enter too. 6|3|here is the sweeps :)|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|00:00:41|03/09/2012|

That dries the hair and makes it look like straw. I use almost any type of shampoo, neutrogena mostkly because its unscented. I have been coloring my hair for years. Hair is still shiny without any aid. I am 70.

By avoiding heat, I mean all heat, hair dryers and curlers. If I want to curl my hair, I use rollers or pin curls while the hair is wet. Let air dry.

My salon person, who only cuts my hair, tries to tell me that home colors dries the hair. Her hair is dry, and so is almost everyone in her shop. 11|3|agree on no heat|cinda68|lacinda68@gmail.com|14:18:14|03/11/2012|
