TV news said this morning that more violent storms are expected in areas that have already been hit by the recent tornadoes. :( I'm sending up prayers for strength & safety for you all.

So far nothing too bad in this area...small hail, lightening, rain and wind....but no major damage.
But they've called off afternoon classes at U of L and most schools have let out early...because the next band is much nastier. Higher chance of torandoes and damaging hail. Weather map looks like there are 2 waves possible..the one moving through indiana now......thin but red band....and a nasty ball of purple/blue/red which is out around Kansas City. 6|2|schools in Western KY have closed..pending the bad weather.........lots of ky has 9 out of 10 chance of a tornado|couponsnsamples|cpsnsamples@aol.com|14:00:21|03/02/2012|

Tornadoes hit just north of us earlier today. We suffered damage from the high winds. The sides of the barn are scattered throughout the pasture, a piece of the roof is in the backyard (several pieces of metal are flapping now), the shingles are gone off the playhouse and the greenhouse looks as though it exploded. We are blessed. Many people who lost their homes last year in April were hit again today and once again lost their homes. These storms are deadly. my best friend lost her home last April, in Tenn. and just moved into a new home recently, so this is on my mind daily as these storms are around.
