I don't touch McDonalds at all. Their coffee is all I buy and I can get a huge one here in GA for 1.00. Make your own nuggets and many of those processed tyson products are NO better..beware

I didn't know that. I thought that some of those frozen products probably used lower grade meat but thought "pink slime" was only used in hamburger meat.
I did find out this info regarding grades of meat. They are: Prime, Choice, Select, Standard, Commercial, Utility, Cutter & Canner (the worst).

that are made from left overs the only way to avoid this is getting full cuts of meat! no spam, no treet meat, no bologna nothing that uses chopped meat pieces its hard telling what we have eatten lol i havent ate at mcdonalds in a long time and if i buy meats i try to buy whole cuts ground beef is purchased from a mom and pop store that grind their own and use no pink slime fillers this is why so many pple getting sick these days...

I went to Krogers and picked up a couple of pkgs of the ANGUS premade burger patties, figuring we'd all get a "treat" for supper
and have a nice burger...mind you these were regularly priced about $7 for a 4 pk (got them marked down of course)...
Anyways they were AWFUL, tough, no flavor, and reminded us all of a stupid McDonalds $1 burger. The texture was DEAD ON for a McDonalds patty.
I was so irritated that I couldn't even finish dinner.---sent Krogers an email thru the "contact us" link---we'll see what becomes of it (probably nothing as usual)

In my opinion, even if people protest about the "pink slime" in their ground beef or the foul "chicken nugget mix", these restaurants/companies will find another deceiving way to trick their customers. They are in the business to make money.

The smell is alot different and even the taste. There is no comparision. I get sick just thinking about how they do with all meats.
Too me, the last meat that I cooked at mom & dad`s for them, it was very stinky when cooking it. YUKKKK POOWIE. I do not see how they
can eat something that bad.
I am wondering if the people who work at these packing warehouses, slaughter houses, if they actually eat those meats they are packing?
I bet NOT. I have almost quit buying all food products, other than organic veggies & fruits. And then , you still have to ask a ton
of questions on their growing practices.
I was just thinking , even about the grass fed meats in the stores, now I wonder if they are considering hay feeding the same as grass fed?
I do know some of the farms here are siloledge fed, which is just as gross. You will know when you open your window and smell the air, and if
it stinks rank, then you will know they are feeding them that crap. I have seen even cows half dead and they still load them up to go to
slaughter. Is very sad, to say the least. And the living conditions are just as bad. Standing up to waste up to their bellies or on
cement/concrete all their lifes w/o any sunshine. To me, this is no meat I want to eat......... :((
I do know where I get my source of grass fed meats, they are grazed all year except in winter months, which they are only fed the hay that
Kris grows herself. I am one of the lucky ones, to actually know all the practices.

Now, I can afford to buy grss feed meat.
