Like many of you may know, I am not young and my health is very poor. This "episode" has certainly taken its toll. I spent a great deal of time unpacking the baby clothes, sorting them, creating a very specific computerized list, taking photos, uploading, figuring out how to send photos of the very specific items this person SAID she wanted, corresponding by email over several days, etc etc When I thought the deal was finalized, as she SAID, I had my husband take the package to the post office to determine shipping costs. It would have been $5.50 which I thought was very reasonable for all that she SAID she wanted. He had to wait his turn in a LONG line, which he didn't mind because we both thought that we were helping this person out, with incredibly LOW prices on BRAND NEW Osh Kosh and Carters baby clothing.
Well, neither of us feels like "helping" much now! That one person, a highly rated trader on this board, has ruined it for us. After all that we did, she said that "something had come up" and she no longer wanted the clothing. Then she changed her story to "she couldn't afford that much". When I expressed dismay and disappointment, she OFFERED to send me "some" Paypal just for my time. AS IF that would even come close! But, I was happy to have that offer, since I had planned on receiving much more, and had spent that amount extra for groceries etc in anticipation of the PP coming soon. I guess I should have known better.
Well, guess what?! Yes, you guessed it. She can no longer send ANY PP either, even though she OFFERED.
True, I am not out any "THING". I still have the beautiful baby clothes. But my faith and trust in at least one member of our RS Community, has been shattered.
She has excellent feedback: I checked. From reading it, you would never think that she would be the type of person to renege on an agreement, to go back on her word, and NOT to follow through! I have learned now, that sometimes Feedback does not tell the whole story!! BEWARE.

Were you clear on the prices for the clothes? Before the shipping was figured out? You can still sell them too, especially since you now have pics and a list. Not sure where you were wronged here? And the trader offered to send paypal, just for your time and as an apology for not buying them? That is awfully nice and doesn't happen often.
How much are they by the way? It is 5.50 shipped for them all? Or just the shipping is 5.50?
