here there are a lot of good deals but
unless you can get the $$$ from the bank
or somewhere a good deal doesn't help.
There are so many houses for sale or repoed
around here. Work is just starting to pick
up here (I don't know how it is in your
area) but since you had 2 showings if you
can wait maybe spring will bring better luck.
Winter can be hard on a lot of folks.

where you live might be worse. I would be hard pressed to sell my house in Schenectady. I am looking at buying the house behind mine and then annexing my garage onto that house. Half my house is in Schenectady the other half in Rotterdam. The house behind mine is completely in Rotterdam. I am also looking at 2 short sales within a couple blocks of my house. Both houses would cost me 75K combined with original combined listings of over 200K

It wasn't long after I posted on here that we received an offer on our house. It went under contract Feb 23rd and today we closed on it!
We settled on a full price offer, but did pay the buyer's closing costs.
Just wanted to share our news!
