THANKS!! 1|1|If slapping a rolled up newspaper on the surface of whatever they're jumping on doesn't work, maybe squirting them w/water from a squirt bottle will when they're up where they shouldn't be....|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|21:09:27|01/31/2012|

I haven't had a cat in years but we always had more effective results w/the sharp snap/slap of a rolled up newspaper than a squirt gun or squirt bottle.
HTH. :)

Don't forget to administer a loud, firm "NO" or "GET DOWN" right before slapping the newspaper. After a few times or so, you should be able to just give the "NO" or "GET DOWN" in the same voice w/out needing the newspaper. Should your cat start testing the limits by ignoring your commands & not getting down, you'll have to go back to slapping the newspaper again for awhile.
They can be snotty little buggers so you have to be consistent & persistent. LOL

My oldest daughters cat started peeing on furniture after baby was born, after trying everything foil worked. Was funny because my youngest told her about trying it, she had read it somewhere, my oldest didn't think it would work so tried everything else first.

on the arms, back and surface of the sofa when they were away or sleeping. It worked right away after a couple of months of the problems, she left it on two weeks before buying new sofa covers, she had ruined the old ones from repeated washing.

the SSScat. It's a can of air that shoots out air if your cat jumps up where it's not supposed to. Here it is at Petsmart:

I have never heard of doing this. I am having a problem
with a couple of my cats (have 7 indoor cats) that pee
on the wall, one peed on the side of my tv and in my
cloth laundry hamper. This has just started resently.
We have tried everything. Hubby even went out and bought
a bottle of Feliway spray. (cost $32.00 for a 75ml bottle)
and it doesn't work. Please tell me how to put the foil on. 10|3|I just leaned this trick recently about getting rid of unwanted smells ** If anyone is interested**|driller|harj@frontier.com|11:54:02|02/02/2012|

Buy some very cheap vodka and put into a spray bottle , full strength. Lightly spray whatever you want the smell to dissappear. Usually takes overnite
to be able to tell the difference. I saw this on the news last week. Pretty interesting if it works, much cheaper in the long run.
I am sure you can lightly spray on the walls , curtains, couch, etc. Just make sure you do not spray near any open flames.

After it dries, not sure because they did not say, but assume to wash if it is machine washable. Is suppose to be the only liquor that you can do this
and will not leave a liquor smell. Worth a try for sure. I just did a sample (test) yesterday and today, I can not smell the smell. They were saying
this trick works really well with laundry that has been sitting in a drawer for a while. That is my next test.

a try. I have a room that is all rough wood. This is
where my cat had spayed. Glade spray had a good spray
called (Neutralizer), When it was on sale for $.97 I
had bought a can. The cats didn't like it but it seemed
to work. The smell of the spray wasn't bad either. I went
back and bought more but now I don't it in the store. I use
it in the litter boxes too. I want something to use so that
they don't spray all around. There is nothing worse than
going to visit and having a house that smells animal urine. 12|5|Interesting..TY|pattyo|pattyolc@aol.com|05:27:28|02/03/2012|
