She had surgery a year ago in January that has had several complications and she cannot work. Without that 2nd income for over a year, their savings are gone.
Her husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer at Thanksgiving - removed his kidney 3 weeks later - but he will be unable to work for six months.
Are there programs that offer assistance on a temporary basis? I have no idea where to start looking for them. They live in MA.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
