He passed away this morning at 1:30AM. We thought maybe that he would survive a little bit longer as his wife told us he was sitting up in the chair on Sat., and ate a little bit more of his food. Then yesterday he started filling up with fluids and noone was there to take the fluids out. But I don't think that mattered anyways as the liver was shutting everything down and there was probably nothing anyone could do, it was just a matter of time.
His wife is taking it hard, so I'm asking for you all to say a prayer for her (Elaine) to help her cope with this.
My hubby is taking it very hard too as they go back to kindergarten and he's quiet like all men do, they can't cry like us women. Our hearts are truly heavy and we will miss him terribly. I am so sad. It hurts more than I thought it would.
Please pray for his wife.
