I read it on here awhile ago, but couldn't find it when I did a search. It sounded easy and cheap...just what I need right now :)
If you could post it I would really appreciate it.
Hope you had a great holiday1

2 qts HOT tap water
add in:
1 scoop Oxyclean or other oxygen powder cleaner (I use the SUN brand from Dollar General)
1 c vinegar
2 tbs liquid fabric softener (this acts as a defoamer and leaves a nice scent, plus will help soften carpet fibers)

When mixing it up, be aware the vinegar and the Oxyclean will bubble alot, so mix it in a larger container, like a gallon size bucket or picture....add the solution to the solution reservoir in your machine and then shampoo as usual.
Dont forget to use plain water rinse with the machine to get the residue off the carpets for a really clean, clean! :)

If you have a soiled area, just apply and let it set a few minutes before going over the area again with the machine to suck up the moisture out of the carpet.
