I stayed snug & cozy at home & watched some New Year's Eve shows but was in bed w/my heating pad & reading before 10. My drinks of choice for the evening were Half Caff coffee, hot water & then 7-Up. LOL I'm sure that sounds really boring to some but I loved it! :)
Flurries, cold & crazy winds outside today so another good time to warm & cozy inside.

The lady my husband works for owns a huge farm and at the last minute she decided she wanted to have a New Years Eve Party for all of her workers, she frantically a party was planned so we went to that she had made popcorn, she also had stuff for smores, all kinds of peanuts/nuts, all kinds of snacky food and lots of drinks at an open bar soo we were there not many of the workers showed up but we did and we had a wonderful time. 4|1|Here by myself....the boys went to a friend's, Lance had to work...I watched four episodes of the Tudors on Netflix, had a snack of ranch flavored popcorn and diet Coke....went to bed around 11pm....some may say "Boring!", but I say "peaceful!" :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|14:11:38|01/01/2012|

We always have a night of snacks and family board games. Getting harder now with the little ones around, and the parents not being able to stay awake past 10. I was the only one awake until midnight, cleaning up, lol.

Played 4 games of Triple Yahtzee with my brother and his wife. Was home by 11:30pm. Was sitting on the toilet when 2012 rang in. Was worried cuz i live in the country and all around me i was hearing gun shots. Kept thinking, "what a way to go!" Sitting on the toilet when a random bullet comes thru my bathroom! "Some" things you just can't hurry though! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I pray this new tear will be filled with many happy prosperous days! Hugs!
