Dept of Ed standards are actually written by the Dept of Labor, they call our children "human resource material". If you have an hour to spare, I suggest this video from a teacher, I think she also ran for governor once. She explains what was going on then, this was recorded a while back. No child left behind also had a part in these things. Each family is profiled, ever wonder why you have to fill out so many forms at the beginning of the school year? The state considers our children their property. A principal even told me as much when my daughter was in elementary school, this has been going on...just getting more invasive now.

This will be used to track us; or to tax us for miles driven. I specifically bought my car in June to avoid this... unfortunately, DH had to buy a car last week and well... it's equipped.
You are not going anywhere without Big Brother knowing. Makes you kinda wonder how crime continues to be so high. In parts of the world, the average person is photographed/videotaped up to 240 times a day (NY.. London...).

Americans really believe they have freedom. I think this makes us the saddest group of all. The rest of the world knows they live under a dictatorship but Americans thinking they are free while also being under a dictator/king...well it makes us the most imprisoned of all. :( Simply no true freedom to be found in this world.
So many things I could cite as proof of us being imprisoned:
can't drive a car without permission, drivers license
can't get married without permission, marriage license
can't get on a plane without being patted down (and worse)
can't own a home without paying taxes or it will be taken from you (we don't really own anything, just illusion to think that we do)
compulsory school attendance, you are breaking the law if you don't comply with state school laws
can't build your home the way you would like it, you need permits and inspections
have to pay taxes, anyone who pays taxes is a slave, tribute is only paid to kings but the children are free...that is why GE paid ZERO taxes last year and you weren't free to do so
can't have a private relationship with your own doctor, so many regulations and the heavy hand of gov between you and your doctor and how do you like that nextgen business? I've had to show my drivers license at my doctor's and had my picture taken with a webcam, creepy days indeed
Just sad...but I don't expect freedom here at all. I only have freedom in Christ.

At times I can go deep into my computer processor and just watch what ip addresses are listening or waiting to get in, as I have there specific ip addresses. Then I block them with my firewall and poof they are gone, for the time being. The fact it is going to get worse tracking all of us. Pretty sad that our own government does this to all of us.

Everyone is looking at their neighbors, friends, fellow citizens as if they are potential criminals. Sigh. In the 80s I remember it was communism as the boogeyman, these days...everyone could be the enemy. I just heard about an elderly woman (85 yrs old I believe)...she was wearing depends and tsa made her daughter change them so they could conduct their pat down on her, can you imagine? They were soiled...oh my...what a horrible world we live in. 8|4|Yes, I remember reading that DISGUSTING Incident with TSA. We lost so many freedoms on 9/11... really and truly -- is my taking off my shoes, belt and earrings so that I can be patted down at an airport really making a difference? If they had wanted to kill us, they would have waited till 50,000 people were at work in those buildings.
They wanted to destroy our finances -- just having to hired thousands of TSA people was enough to do that...
So angry about this... so very very angry...
